Warning: Long ramble about LFCC Summer 2014 and featured artwork from 3 talented artists

So I can finaly have some time and spend my minutes talking about LFCC Summer 2014 and how things were going.

I've been meaning to talk about and all I have to say is:

It.........Was..........GLORIOUS!

I had never thought to be so free like Elsa from Frozen and allow my talents to shine out and let loose.

I've met plenty of new people and managed to give them all a piece of my mind about certain places here and the results were staggeringly amazing.

Also on sunday, I was somehow unexpectedly been drafted in for the Cosplay Masquerade and I was wearing my Near Cosplay and it got really hectic.

Still, I'm quite suprised but glad of the ending results and having not to win was at least reassuring enough.

And to have joined in with loads of people more talented than me is a bit of suprise, but ah well.
But yeah, I hope to return there or return to the MCM Expo and see what to make of all this madness again. Hopefuly when I have more motivation to work on more simple outfits!

However earlier before the con started, the main issue I had of course were the long qeues for both normal users and preordered tickets users and boy, were they bloody long and it took a while to get going and I kinda feel bad for those who were still to buy a ticket but were unable to get in at the end of the day.

Anyway during research and working on different cosplay designs as well as fanart, I also stumbled upon some of the most wonderful artists both official and non-official so far and here.

One of which is :icondavidkawena: ( www.facebook.com/david.kawena ) who not only works on male photography work, but is also a really wonderful non-official Disney artist.

Here are some of my faves from Dave's Disney collection:

And along him is the official Disney Store artist Steve Thompson ( stevethompson-art.tumblr.com/ ) whose works can be turned into actual merchandise items.

Here are my faves from his art collection.

Just For Fun - Elsa (c)DISNEY
It’s cloudy here in California, and really cold back on the East Coast. Looks like someone wasn’t quite ready for spring. ;) Kida - color Rapunzel doodle -
Silly things that happen while you chat on the phone.

And the last person so far is Amy Mebberson, creator of the Pocket Princess strips ( amymebberson.tumblr.com/ ) which pokes fun at what happens to Disney Princesses in a good style of Reality TV sitcom ala The Osbornes only with more innocent and lighthearted flair to it.

Are are four of my fave images done by her.

You look… familiar…
SDCC piece"Do Not Disturb" - 6x8", Acrylic & gouache
Original SOLD.Dancing in the Dusk Silly doodle thing that would make an AWESOME COMIC if I knew how to harness it…
Jan 2012: Now in COLOUR! :)

I hope they like being featured at least and encourages others to explore their artist side, both digital and normal art.

Somehow these pieces of artwork always seem to suprise me alot and makes me want to make something whilst also thinking of anything wonderful like former Disney artist Glen Keane's animated short film, Duet.

Or something hardcore like this Tokusatsu-themed AMV set to the first main theme to Attack on Titan.

It makes you wonder on certain cartoon shows these days too and wanting to expand upon some in a satirical manner might be in the works.

That or loads of old-school cartoon theme songs or anime and tokusatsu theme songs or lots of Classic Rock Music!

Well, that's all I have to ramble about for now and till Elfia Arcen 2014 on Sunday.
